what can i say, it’s been a crazy year :)
2008 brought about the rise of britney spears from her fall of 2007, USA’s first ever black president (wooohoooo), the stupidest election in Canadian history (come on Mr. Harper, was that really necessary?), the recession and much more
2008 also saw the deaths of Heath Ledger, one of the few actors in hollywood who was damn good at his job (those who oppose me, have you seen Brokeback Mountain? and did you see Dark Knight? …Exactly.),Yves Saint Laurent, one of the fashion greats, and my grandmother (RIP Maa, tu me manques beaucoup).
2008 was an okay year for fashion, continuing (once again) the skinny jean trend, introducing the gladiator sandal and elaborating on grecian draping (thank you Alber+Lanvin08!)
Thanks to the people who made this year a special year for me. Mom+Dad, you probably wont read this but i appreciate everything you’ve done for me. My friends, I love love love you all so much more than you can imagine.
Heres to the ending of a great year, and the begininng of another :)
